It's Never Too Late

In 1984 (age 4) my mother illegally put me on drugs (Ritalin) without a prescription.
In 1995 I took myself off the drugs (at 15) and started running away from home.
At 1998 (age 18) I was trafficked for the first time.
In 1999 (age 19) and I was trafficked for the second time.
In 2000 (age 20) I died three times in an emergency surgery.
In 2011 (age 31) I escaped human trafficking for the last time.
In 2018 (age 38) I wrote and published my first book in my own name! It was 68 pages.
In 2020 (age 40) I wrote my autobiography as a survivor of human trafficking.
In 2021 (age 41) I started painting, met my husband, had a cancer scare, lost a dear friend, and finally figured out who I wanted to be when I grew up.
In 2022 (age 42) I got married to the love of my life, started my career as a full time author, and last week I hung my art in a showroom (and displayed my books) for the first time.

I’ve written EVERY book on that table, all published since 2018.
It’s been a heckuva journey, and I’m incredibly proud of how far I’ve come.
Recovery is possible for those who are willing to do the work and put in the time. Please share this message to encourage someone else who might be struggling in life.

It's never too late.
