Welcome to season 3 of the Survivor podcast! This entire season is going to be about spotlighting trauma survivors who have turned pain into promise. These people are amazing trauma survivors who have used their own experiences to help heal others.

Sherrie Pate was impacted by the passing of her mother in ways most people can’t imagine. Sherrie and her family experienced stress, abandonment, isolation, character assignation, prejudice, suicidal thoughts, homelessness and hunger. I’ll let Sherrie tell you the story, but going through what she did during Covid is more than most people can ever imagine.
